The wording on the Plaque is: As part of our Jubilee celebrations this building, formerly the Folk Museum, was officially opened as a Community Heritage Centre and the new HQ of the Gloucester Civic Trust, by our Patron, Dr Janina Ramirez, historian, author, and President of Gloucester History Festival, on Saturday, September 17th 2022. It will, henceforth, be known as the Folk of Gloucester

This commemoration also acknowledges the work of the former Chairman of the Gloucester Civic Trust,  Robin Morris,  who led the Trust for over 40 years
