As part of this citywide celebration of vintage fashion, music and design, The Folk will be focusing on the 1920s-40s with a day of free music, dance and a display of vintage radios.
Schedule:
11am: Learn the Charleston in a free drop-in dance session
12 – 12:45pm and 1:15 – 2pm: Live music from Katy Sirr – the songs of Cole Porter and George Gershwin
All day: exhibition of vintage valve radios
All day: “What Are YOU Listening To” – special exhibition of music memorabilia and stories from the local community
The cafe and bar will be open throughout the day serving lunches, snacks and hot and cold drinks. Our historic building will be open and free to look around.
