Having been closed for several years, we are delighted that tours of the King’s Bastion are returning next month.
With a Civic Trust guide, visit the underground chamber that contains the remains of a section of the Roman wall and a 13th century defensive tower. The Bastion is located under a trapdoor in the King’s Walk Shopping Centre, opposite Superdrug. Tours are available on the following dates: April 14th, May 26th, June 16th, July 21st; July 28th, August 18th.
