The new home for Gloucester Antiques Centre at 26 Westgate Street also happens to be Britain’s finest example of a timber-framed town house. Built in 1560, it was once the hall of the Grocers’ Guild, the mansion house of a Mayor of Gloucester and a lodging for Assize Judges.
Tours are available on the hour between 10.00am and 3.00pm and last for about an hour.
Pre-booking is required. Tickets available from Tourist Information Centre in Southgate Street.
Meet outside the Antiques Centre in Westgate Street.
