The original St Mary’s Hall, situated in St Mary’s Square, was bought by Selina, Countess of Huntingdon, in 1788 for the Gloucester followers of George Whitefield, the famous 18th Century preacher.
The Church has evolved over the years and now stands in its replacement building (c.1958) as a Congregational Church which welcomes one and all, to both morning and evening Sunday Services, led by various preachers.
