This walk tells the story of Robert Raikes, newspaper publisher, prison reformer and promoter of the Sunday School movement and shows some the buildings in Gloucester connected with him.
The guided walk starts in the garden of the Robert Raikes House where Robert’s wife used to serve plum cake to the Sunday School children in the 18th century.
The walk lasts about 1 hour
