The Crown Court in Longsmith Street with its two semi-circular court rooms, was designed by Robert Smirke (of British Museum fame) and opened in 1815.
It replaced the 17th century Assize Courts which formed part of the Booth Hall.
Talks about the Court will be given at 12.00 by the Recorder of Gloucester, HH Judge Jamie Tabor QC, and at 14.00 by HH Judge Michael Cullum.
