Heritage Open Days Bearland House H01

Bearland House in Longsmith Street is an impressive 18th century building with an ornamental façade, forecourt, and fine wrought iron railings and gates.

The interior boasts a carved wooden staircase and decorated ceilings.

It was purchased by a high county Sheriff in 1764.

The ghost of his daughter is said to appear at the staircase window.
