The city’s oldest parish church which is mentioned in the Domesday Book in 1085.
It was built over a Saxon church and a Roman building.
The Roman mosaic tiled floor can still be seen in the church.
The building was used as a prison for Royalist soldiers during the Civil War in 1643.
On Saturday 9th, the Gloucester Music Society will give a presentation at 14.00.
