Mariners Church – Heritage Open Days Event

Mariners Church opened in 1849 and became popular with the townspeople as well as the mariner visiting the port. The Chaplain was responsible for visiting every ship that arrived. The church features fine stained glass windows. An active church continues to meet in the building.

The church will be open  from 9.00am to 6.00pm from Thursday 8th to Sunday 11th.

The church is situated at Gloucester Docks.

This event is one of many making up Gloucester History Festival and Heritage Open Days.
