This FREE walk tells the story of Robert Raikes, newspaper publisher, prison reformer and promoter of the Sunday School movement and also shows you some of the buildings in Gloucester connected with him.
The walk starts in the garden of Robert Raikes House where Robert’s wife used to serve plum cake to the Sunday School children in the 18th century.
The walk lasts about an hour.
