TOURS OF THE FOLK

Explore our Tours

Explore these distinctive Tudor buildings with one of our volunteer guides. Find out about Bishop Hooper, who was burned at the stake across the road in 1555 , an Edwardian undertaker who had a mortuary in our building, and hear the stories of other real people connected to these exceptional listed properties across 600 years. Listen to fascinating tales and gory stories.

Our café and tranquil garden are open for Barista hot drinks, home-made cake, snacks, and light lunches. Drop in early to meet your guide and relax after your tour. While there is full access to the café and garden, please note that the Tour itself takes around 90 minutes with many steps and staircases, so it is not suitable for those with limited mobility.

Book now to experience this unique taste of history.

Tours start at 11.00 am on the dates listed below. Advance booking online is recommended but walk-ins on the day also welcome, subject to availability.

Tickets: £10 Adults; £4 Child under 16 accompanied by an adult.
