Gloucester Park Orienteering Course Map

Gloucester Park Orienteering Course Map

A new Orienteering Course has been set up in Gloucester Park - it’s fun and gets those brain cellls working. It’s also a great walk for health.

The course is a bit like a treasure hunt.  You track down the clues from the map which may lead you to a tree or a lamp post or a prominent feature in the Park. Then when you arrive at that certain point, you will collect a letter of the alphabet.  Once you’ve completed the course just juggle the letters around to make a word.
The maps with the clues are available from the black and white Park Keeper’s den in the Park  - all free of charge. Just go in and help yourself.
It’s great for groups and families to try out - and also for individuals.  The Course has been funded by the Primary Care NHS Trust.
