At St Michael’s Tower. A 50 minute tour of Gloucester using live images over Gloucester and photographs.  A great way to learn about Gloucester from a comfy chair. Free entry.
 
Thursday 26 May 7.00 pm – Tour and Talk on Llanthony Priory with a Civic Trust tour guide. Approx. 1.5 hours. Meet on Site. Tickets £3 from the Tourist Information Centre and St Michael’s Tower.
 
City Tours
Available  Monday – Saturday  at 11.30 a.m.  £3.00. Starts from St Michael’s Tower. Group bookings welcome.
 
Self Guided Walks
Available Monday – Saturday self guided walks around Gloucester. Choose from 4 walks which take you to parts of the city not normally on the city tour route.  Includes equipment/map.  Cost  £3.50  or £5.00 for 2. Available at the Tourist Information Centre and St Michael’s Tower. These walks can also be downloaded from the Gloucester Civic Trust website www.gloucestercivictrust.org  on to your own MP3 player or iPod.
 
Heritage Trail for families/Schools and youth groups
A family heritage trail is available for families. This walk is popular with schools and youth groups. It’s fun, entertaining and educational. Available daily from St Michael’s Tower and the Tourist Information Centre, cost £5.00 per family (special group rates are available) – also downloadable on www.gloucestercivictrust.org.
 
Exhibitions
 
 26th April – 6th May: ”What a Load of Rubbish”, an exhibition on recycling. See how our rubbish is recycled and how we can conserve our planet for the future. Venue: St Michael’s Tower. Free Entry.
 
14th  May – 28th May: “Looking Out”, an art exhibition by GANET. GANET is a group of local artists.  St Michael’s Tower will be showcasing Gloucester local artists and their talent.  Free entry.

Artist in Residence at St Michael’s Tower
