Gloucester Civic Trust announces this year’s varied programme of monthly talks to be held at the Gala club in Longford. All talks start at 7-30pm and are open to all, so members please bring a friend.

Thursday, September 24th - “Ow Bist Auld Butty?” will introduce us to mysteries, mayhem and murder in the beautiful Forest of Dean and Wye Valley - Speaker DAVE BALLARD
Thursday, October 15th- “Railways – past, present and future” – Speaker IAN HATTON
A subject close to his heart since not only is it a life long fascination but he also works on the rail network as a guard!!!!
Wednesday, November 18th – “Where There’s Muck There’s Brass” a talk on the brass band movement in Gloucestershire – Speaker TREVOR PICKEN President of the Stroud Brass Band Festival as well as a previous conductor of Nailsworth Silver Band.
Thursday, February 18th – “History of Barnwood in pictures over the past 100 years” – Speaker
