Gloucester Civic Trust is delighted to be the subject of not one, but two, hour long documentaries on BBC Radio Gloucestershire in April 2015.
Popular broadcaster, Pete Wilson, meets with Trust volunteers at St Michael’s Tower to talk about the origins of the Civic Trust and its achievements in protecting historic buildings in the city.
With the Trust’s tour guides about to welcome their 100,000th visitor, Pete also gets a taste of the tours on offer and finds out about the restoration of St Michael’s Tower as a Heritage Centre for the city and the events planned there for this summer.
You can listen to Pete’s programmes on BBC Radio Gloucestershire on 104.7fm, 95fm and 95.8fm and 1413mw.
Programme 1 will air at 5.00am and 12.00 noon on Sunday 5th April and again at 5.00am on Saturday 11th April.
Programme 2 will air at 5.00am and 12.00 noon on Sunday 12th April and again at 5.00am on Saturday 18th April.
